Additional information is available when the following symbols are shown
next to merchant name:
- Rolling mouse over this symbol shows the address of the merchant. Clicking
this symbol displays a map to show the merchant location.
- Clicking this symbol shows a menu or price list of products offered by
the merchant.
- Clicking this symbol shows features that the merchant location
offers (i.e. free wireless internet access).
Multiple Redemptions (*2, *Mo, *Qtr, *R, etc.)
Three
Winners is committed to offering its members more value than any
other discount program that currently exists. Therefore, you will
find that many of our discounts are not just a "one time discount"; instead,
many discounts are offered on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
Furthermore, many discounts give you the option to redeem the discount multiple
times throughout the year. When a discount is offered multiple times, you will
see additional black text next to the discount that we refer to as the *Multiple
Redemption tag. Some discounts can even be reused without
reprinting. The different permutations for this tag are explained below.
Other variations will be self-explanatory after understanding the following
permutations. The only authorized way to redeem a discount multiple times is
when the discount is offered multiple times.
Warning:
Unauthorized duplication of printed discounts will result in membership
termination. All discounts are tracked and monitored. Merchants also have the
ability to determine if a coupon is authentic; meaning, was the coupon legally
obtained or was it duplicated.
*Multiple Redemption Tag Not Visible
When
no *Multiple Redemption tag is visible, the discount
is currently only being offered once per your annual membership. However,
discounts are constantly being added and changed so these type of discounts may
some day be offered multiple times during your annual membership.
*R
Indicates
a reusable discount. Appears on the home page as *R when the
discount can be reused as often as you like without reprinting the
discount for a period of 3 months. Merchants should return this coupon to you
after redemption. After 3 months, the discount will need to be reprinted. A
reusable discount can be printed up to 20 times. This allows you to
print 5 copies every 3 months incase you loose it or you want one in
your car, billfold, or pursue. This type of tag is most commonly seen
on lower value discounts such as gas, coffee, or dry cleaning.
*Day
Appears
on the home page as *Day when the discount can be redeemed
once a day. This type of tag could be seen on discounts that you
might redeem on a daily basis; possibly for your morning coffee!
Typically, discounts offered on a daily basis will have a lower
value which adds up over time. When you see this tag, it means that
you can use the discount today and it will be available again tomorrow.
*Mo
Appears
on the home page as *Mo when the discount can be redeemed once
per month. When you see this tag, it means that you can use the discount today
and it will be available again next month on the 1st.
*Wk
Appears
on the home page as *Wk when the discount can be redeemed once
per week. When you see this tag, it means that you can use the discount today
and it will be available again within 1 week. The particular day of the week
that the discount will be available again will vary from year to year much like
the way your birthday falls on a different day each year.
*Qtr
Appears
on the home page as *Qtr when the discount can be redeemed
once per calendar quarter (every 3 months). When you see this tag, it means
that you can use the discount today and it will be available again on the 1st
of January, April, July, and October.
*#
The
# can be any number. This tag can appear on the home page as *5
and it means that the discount can be redeemed 5 times. When this *Multiple
Redemption tag is not combined with the
Daily/Monthly/Weekly/Quarterly tag (examples to follow), you may redeem the
discount anytime during the life of your membership.
*#-Wk
The
# can be any number. This tag can appear on the home page as *3-Wk
and it means that the discount can be redeemed 3 times per week.
*#-Mo
The
# can be any number. This tag can appear on the home page as *2-Mo
and it means that the discount can be redeemed 2 times
per month.
*#-Qtr
The
# can be any number. This tag can appear on the home page as *7-Qtr
and it means that the discount can be redeemed 7 times per calendar
quarter (every 3 months).
