Discounts (FAQ)

1. How do I redeem a discount?

You can either use your computer to print out a discount or use your web-enabled cell phone or PDA. See Instructions for more details on redemption methods. See Use Your Cell Phone for a cell phone demo that shows you how to display discounts on your web-enabled cell phone or PDA. 

2. Can I use a discount at locations other than the location specified on the discount?

No. All discounts that are offered by Three Winners can only be redeemed at the location specified on the discount. Therefore, please do not attempt to use a discount at any location other than the one specified on the discount. If a discount for a particular merchant location does not display on our home page, you should assume that the merchant location is not participating in our program at this time. We will continue to add merchant locations throughout the term of your membership.

3. What type of discounts do the merchants offer?

Merchants in the “dining”, “easy/specialty”, and “things to do” categories have provided either a 2-for-1 or 50% off discount, 20% off entire bill, free appetizer with purchase of entrée, $5 off $20 or $25, or a reusable discount as well as several other discounts at an equal or lesser value. Merchants in the retail, service, auto, and health & beauty categories have provided a discount up to 20% off or better offerings or a reusable discount.

4. Is a discount offered only once per year?

Some discounts are offered only once per year but many discounts will be offered once a month and a few will be offered weekly or even daily. For example, a coffee shop may offer you a discount on a daily basis to save on the purchase of your morning coffee every day!

5. How many discounts do I need to use before I get my money back?

You typically need to redeem 1 to 3 discounts before you get your membership fee back.

6. What if I don’t have Internet access?

Do you have web access at work or on your cell phone? Do you know a friend or family member that has access? Many cell phone providers give a free web-enabled cell phone when signing up for cell phone service. Because you only need to redeem 1-3 discounts to recoup your membership fee, use a friends computer or try the library.

7. What if I don’t have Internet access on my cell phone?

You can still print out discounts from the Internet. However, many cell phone providers give a free web-enabled cell phone when signing up for cell phone service.

8. How do the discounts appear on the website?

The merchants will appear based on an address that you have provided. It can be any address. After becoming a member, you can also save several addresses for work, home, grandma’s, etc.

10. What merchants are involved in the program?

There are hundreds of merchants in your immediate and surrounding area that are participating. These merchants fall into the following categories: dining, easy/especialty, retail, service, things to do, health & beauty, internet site, manufacturer coupons, and auto. Unlike other discount programs, we can and will continue to add new merchants throughout your membership period.

11. Can friends and family members share my membership?

Three Winners does not discourage sharing your membership access with immediate family members such as your spouse and/or children. When other family members share your membership, you should update your Member Profile to specify your family members' first name along with your own name in the First Name field (i.e. John, Betty, or Dave). This will add their names to the printed discount and cell phone display of a discount.
